Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What is a Monoblock?

A. ‘Monoblock’ is the housing in which the piston operates. The housing is one piece, so it doesn’t use 4 tie-rods to hold it together like most other brands. Tie-rods are famous for stretching and breaking, causing mass damage to the tool.

Q. Do I not need to adjust the flow and pressure of my machine when using the breaker?

A. As long as you are operating with the right-sized host machine, there is no need. It is engineered with the latest technology that controls incoming and outgoing flows to specified amounts.

Q. Why are there sleeves inside the Monoblock?

A. The sleeves are to protect the Monoblock if the piston is damaged; once damaged, they are easy and affordable to replace. Some brands that use Monoblock technology do not use sleeves anymore, making repair very costly.

Q. When servicing, should I re-gas?

A. No, the accumulator can be discharged as an assembly and not be displaced; the energy recovery system holds it from needing to be topped up!

Q. Do I need to have it serviced regularly for my three-year warranty to be honored?

A. No, unless it develops an oil leak, do not take it apart at all, grease it and use it!
